Kuhn asked us to make a new animation of the baler. We had already done this in 2013, but because various new features were developed, it was decided to make an entirely new animation. This project is one of the first projects to use the completely rebuilt materials and lighting system. As a result, the images are very realistic. Kuhn also decided to make a short promo/teaser prior to the actual functional animation. This promo animation contributes to the product presentation and contributes to the experience and professional appearance.
The Kuhn SB 1290 iD is a large square baler designed to produce very high-density bales. The press is equipped with a patented TwinPact system. This system consists of two pistons that alternately press the crop into the press chamber. As a result, the crop is compacted evenly and efficiently.
The high density of the bales has a number of advantages. First, the bales are more stable and easier to move. Secondly, they contain less air, so they have a better shelf life. Thirdly, they have a higher energy content, making them more suitable as animal feed.
The technical animation of the Kuhn SB 1290 iD is intended to show how the press works in a clear and understandable way. The animation shows how the crop is fed through the press, how it is compacted and how the bales are ultimately formed.
The animation is intended for a wide audience, including farmers, contractors and other interested parties. It is a valuable tool for learning about how this innovative press works.
