Machine animation for e-commerce

With the GRIPP, INTHER has a solution for the growing challenges in e-commerce. This advanced robot, referred to as Gantry Robotic Intelligent Piece Picker (GRIPP), offers a unique approach to order picking through Vision and AI technology.

Machine operation

INTHER GRIPP has introduced the Gantry Robotic Intelligent Piece Picker (GRIPP) as an advanced solution for efficient order picking in the growing e-commerce sector. The operation of the GRIPP is based on innovative technologies that optimize intralogistics processes.

The GRIPP's advanced gripper system, equipped with machine learning software, makes it possible to pick up objects of various shapes and sizes, including vulnerable products, accurately and quickly. With a processing capacity of up to 1,200 pieces per hour, the GRIPP significantly increases order picking capacity without additional staff.

In addition, the GRIPP uses AI vision technology to measure the weight, length, width, and height of each product. This allows the robot to identify defective or wrong pieces and adjust gripper movements based on weight. The 3D stereo vision camera technology combined with RGB imaging ensures optimal piece picking, with controlled and accurate placement of pieces.

Purpose of the Technical 3D Animation

To visually highlight the unique selling points (USPs) and how the GRIPP works, INTHER GRIPP uses technical 3D animation. The aim of the animation is to give viewers insight into how the machine functions and stands out in the market.

The technical 3D animation impressively visualizes the flexibility of the gripper system, covering various product forms. It shows how the GRIPP processes orders effortlessly and quickly, without human intervention, resulting in increased efficiency.

In addition, the animation shows the integration of AI vision technology, where measuring product characteristics enables the robot to identify defective parts and prevent damage. By using animation, the technological aspect of the GRIPP is communicated to a wide audience in an understandable and convincing way.
